**This is a Monday through Friday position with no nights or weekends required, making it ideal for someone seeking work-life balance. Full-time availability is preferred, and we’re looking for individuals who enjoy physical work and are excited about the opportunity to grow with the company into a future management role.
What is an estate sale?
Unlike a garage or yard sale, estate sales are large-scale, professionally managed events designed to sell the remaining contents of a home after a major life transition—such as a move, downsizing, or passing of a loved one. At our company, we help clients by selling the items they no longer need or are unable to take with them.
This person must be a “people person” who is interested in forming customer relationships and enjoys the challenges of a growing estate sale company.
Major Responsibilities
Estate Sale Setup & Staging
- Drive to various sale locations
- Clean and organize homes for staging
- Lift and move furniture; rearrange items for aesthetic presentation in line with company branding
- Remove/reinstall doors or cabinets when needed
- Independently stage rooms and follow checklists
- Clean items and areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming)
- Remove trash and move to curb
Product Pricing & Merchandising
- Research items using company tools or smartphone
- Price merchandise based on company guidelines
- Photograph and list items for online store
- Apply barcodes and price tags following brand standards
Customer Service During Sales
- Greet and assist customers with selections and purchases
- Re-stage and tidy product displays throughout the sale
- Carry furniture to customer vehicles
- Retrieve online orders for pickup
- Monitor for theft or damage
- Support fellow team members on the sales floor
Post-Sale Breakdown
- Follow end-of-sale checklist
- Organize, pack, and load supplies

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changing environments of different homes, including multi-level stair use. Regular moving of furniture along with regular cleaning and organizing the contents of each home can be expected. On occasion dust and allergens can be present. The noise level is often quiet, but can be moderate during sale days where customer traffic and conversation is present. The passage of customers on sale days can be anywhere from 250 – 500 people per day. Employees are expected to answer customer questions, move up and down stairs while placing items on hold and potential outdoor placement for garage/shed positions during sale days.
